What changed with KoalaWriter v2

KoalaWriter v2 moved out of beta on August 28, 2026. Koala says the new version improves coherence and flow, reduces repetition, integrates Brand DNA, supports service pages, handles article-specific instructions and plans internal links during writing rather than bolting them on afterward.

The current changelog also describes AI-search-oriented formatting changes such as leading sections with direct answers and using cited evidence for claims.

A sensible KoalaWriter workflow

1. Start with a query or page goal that deserves its own search destination.
2. Review the generated outline before drafting; remove sections that exist only because competitors include them.
3. Turn on research when factual freshness matters and inspect the chosen sources.
4. Generate the draft with the brand context you actually want reflected.
5. Add firsthand examples, original analysis and subject expertise that the model cannot know.
6. Verify every material claim, then publish as a draft to your CMS for final QA.

Why affiliate publishers may care

Koala supports Amazon affiliate roundups and single-product reviews using live product data. That can reduce the mechanical work of assembling product information, but it does not justify invented experience or unsupported recommendations.
